As we draw ever nearer to Christmas, celebrations have begun at Vis de Copil’s “Gradina Secreta” (secret garden) day shelter. Gifts and food parcels funded by YOU through A Brighter Christmas Romania are being given out at multiple small celebrations starting yesterday and running through early next week.
Here are some of the photos we are receiving from the final prep and first party. The first gathering is for a community about an hour outside Arad. Transportation to the center is expensive for them (about €4 per person), so parents come and receive gifts to give to their children as well as the food parcels for their family. We will add more photos to the Updates tab as celebrations continue.
