FUNDING UPDATE
First of all, WOW! We have made our goal AND exceeded it thanks to YOUR generosity. Thank you so much. We are thrilled to be fully funded for A Brighter Christmas’s goals.
TRAVEL UPDATE
As our last update outlined, the travel team (Beki, Randy, and Audrey) will not be able to travel to Romania this December. However, we were able to transfer plane tickets and lodging to other dates, so on March 12-21, 2021, we plan to go help out at the center with other tasks, and we will keep this website active with updates for both projects. So…you have not only funded one project, but TWO!
SHOPPING UPDATE
The staff at Vis de Copil are nearly done shopping for shoebox gift items. Next up – food parcel items! Other volunteers are able to help with assembly and distribution. In fact, as I write this, Philip is off to the stores (again).

FUNDS OVER OUR GOAL
Any overage will be applied toward day to day costs like heating and food at Vis de Copil’s day shelter in Arad.
The gofundme pages will stay active until December 10 for those of you who would like to give toward daily expenses at Vis de Copil. After that, should you wish to continue support for their work, you can give to Vis de Copil through their website at achildsdream.co.uk .

Gifts will be distributed the week of December 12-19. We will post updates and photos on this website shortly after that and as soon as they are available.
